This project is a renovation of the historic Aromor Apartment building, orginially built in 1928 and designated as a historic landmark by the City of Denver in 2000. The renovated builing will contain 66 single room occupancy apratments and social services facilities for support of the residents, including a computer lab, visiting physician's office, social service workers' offices, conference and meeting rooms and a full commercial training kitchen. When completed, the building will be accessible to the disabled. The exterior of the building will be cleaned and repaired and the windows rehabilitated. The project is scheduled to begin construction in May 2008.
