The
Capital grille will be the newest tenant to join the list of fine
restaurants on Larimer Square. The 7,500 square foot building
is an urban infill project on the site of the present Noel Park.
The buildings public face on Larimer Street uses sandstone,
steel, and glass in familiar patterns and shapes but with a modern
aesthetic interest and a sense of something new.
Awnings
placed between steel channels continue the rhythm of window spacing
common on the square. A glass curtain wall tower rises from sandstone
piers above an art glass and steel cornice to announce entry.
Lights
at the base of the structure will highlight the steel channels
and add another level of interest at night.
