Located
at in the Prospect Neighborhood of Denver, this historic building
was originally the warehouse for Benedict Transfer and Storage. This
adaptive re-use project consisted of an addition of 25,000 square
feet of new timber frame construction of 100,000 square feet of historic
brick and timber frame construction. The project consists of 80 lofts
within the historic existing structure and 14 in the additional penthouse
area. The architectural features of these loft units include exposed
heavy timber beams, high ceilings, large windows, interior brick walls
and hardwood floors. BYG provided Architecture, Construction and Development
services for this project completed in 2002.
