BACKGROUND
Mr. Buchanan is a nationally renowned expert in the field of design led single source project delivery and has led the profession by example in the pursuit of expanding the role of the Architect in all aspects of public and private facilities. His passionate efforts to open new doors and break through paradigms and perceptions of the typical role of the "architect" are evidenced through his many papers, articles, presentations and symposiums. Mr. Buchanan has been practicing architecture, construction & development for over twenty years and is the founding partner of BYG. He has experience in all areas of design and construction including commercial, retail, housing, multi-family, institutional, multi-use and adaptive re-use facilities. Throughout his career, Brad has been responsible for many competition winning designs. Brad is familiar with the full range of architectural, development and construction services, ranging from feasibility studies to design and documentation to construction to facilities management and owner's representative services.
